Scott Paxton (born in 1960 in Scotland) is a photographic artist and Certified Professional Photographer currently living in Austin, Texas. He gave up a hectic international engineering career to slow down and revisualize the world around him. By rediscovering alternative processes, he has embraced the ideas of digital in an analog world.

Starting with accurate digital images, he manipulates them with sun, chemicals and even mechanical destruction. 

His images reflect his consistent attention to detail while allowing the surroundings to influence the outcome.
